(1) A község címerének  a Mocsáry család régi címer ábrázolása, valamint a település  története, kultúrája és hagyományai adtak támpontot.      

(2) A pajzs alakú, két részre osztott címertest sötétebb (kék) osztatában sárga színű, tátott szájú, kiöltött, piros nyelvű, álló oroszlán található, amelynek kócos pamacsban végződő két farka a háta mögött görbülten kinyúlik. A világosabb (ezüst) osztatban a vidékre oly jellemző tevékenység: a földművelés, bor- és szőlőművelés emblémájaként a karóra felfutó szőlőinda, míg a gazdag termés reményében a bal- és jobb oldalon arányosan elhelyezkedő egy levél, egy szőlőfürt motívum jelenik meg. A címer tetején lovagi játék sisak helyezkedik el. A pajzs oldalát innen is, onnan is arany és vörös színű babér díszíti ékesen és művészien. A pajzs alatt található szalagon „Andornaktálya” felirat.
      
(3) A színek jelentéstartalma a következő:

• Arany (Nap): értelem, ész, hit, tekintély, erény, erkölcsösség;
• Ezüst (Hold): bölcsesség, tisztaság, ártatlanság, szemérmesség;
• Vörös (Mars): hazaszeretet, önfeláldozás, tenni akarás, nagylelkűség;
• Kék (Jupiter): szabadság, szeretet, remény, boldogság, szépség, egészség.

 The  Description of Andornaktálya's Coat-of-Arms

(1)     Andornaktálya's coat-of-arms is based on the old coat-of-arms of the Mocsáry family and also the history, culture and traditions of the village.

(2)     The body of the coat-of-arms is shield shaped and divided into two parts. In the dark blue part there is a
yellow standing lion with its mouth open, its red tongue put out, and its curved, double tail ending in brushes sticking out. In the light, silver part there is a vine on a stock with leaves and grapes evenly on each side representing viniculture, the typical agricultural activity of the area. At the top of the shield there is a tournament helmet. The sides are artistically decorated with gold and red bay leaves. Under the shield we can read 'Andornaktálya' on a ribbon.

(3)     The meaning of the colours in the coat of arms can be interpreted as follows:

·                                Gold (Sun): sense, intellect, faith, authority, virtue and chastity;

·                                Silver (Moon): wisdom, purity, innocence, and prudence;

·                                Red (Mars): patriotism, self-sacrifice, willingness to act and generosity;

·                                Blue (Jupiter): freedom, love, hope, happiness, beauty and health.
